Postcards from Kansas

Welcome to “Postcards from Kansas”. It isn’t really about postcards… the title is just a metaphor for a rambling photo diary from a photographer living in the Midwest. I live in the eastern half of Kansas, on the border of the Flint Hills. It’s a rich area for the outdoor photographer, with tall grass prairies, rolling hills, small towns, ghost towns, and the vast Kansas sky. There is no attempt here to serve up visual epiphanies. It is rather about the quiet stance of the prairie and the artfulness of simple things.

I do value your comments and love to hear from visitors. Constructive criticism is also appreciated.
