Painted, welded metal cow by M. T. Liggett

Mullinville

Along Highway 154 in Mullinville, Kansas you’ll find the the welded metal political cartoons of M. T. Liggett. The work is pieced together from old farm equipment, junk metal, discarded highway signs. We visited on a windy day and whirly jigs and kinetic sculpture added even more energy to the work. I put up a small sampling for you, but there is much more waiting if you visit. The Roadside America link below gives a great mini documentary.
