Creating the life you want to live

Creative Play

Creative play consists of radical acts of daring. Daring to step away from the self-confined box you have created of what you “should” do, and wonder, explore, and get messy within the beautiful wildscape of your imagination.

Creative play comes naturally to us. We arrive in the world, arms wide open, announcing our joy at life. We marvel at our toes, fall and get up too many times to count, laugh at silly things, make up stories, and have innate wonder and insatiable curiosity for life.

We must remember where we came from, this beautiful place of love for life, and engage in creative acts for no other purpose than to play, to breathe life back into our veins.

Soul Dancing

Practices of creative play encompass outdoor and indoor activities from: the creation of temporary nature altars and mandalas to nature spirit photography, storytelling shares (impromptu and scripted), as well as collage work and

seasonal play events that involve nature crafting. Creative play sessions vary between one hour and four hours, depending on the type of practice offered.

“You’re either losing your mind—or gaining your soul. Life is meant to be an artist date. That’s why we were created.”

What they’re saying,

“I recently attended one of Kristy’s EnCreFu createshops. This is my first EnCreFu experience, and I wasn’t sure what to expect. I’m not very crafty nor do I do much DIY, and I felt intimidated by the idea of creating and having to do that in the company of others (witnesses!).

Despite feeling intimidated, I’m glad I faced my insecurity and went. I found it valuable to take the time to focus on myself and my goals. I never felt pressure and found Kristy to be personal and professional, leading a session that was both relaxing and motivating all at once.”

“The EnCreFu Createshop was a refreshing and centering way to start the new year! Not only did I feel uplifted by the positive energy from the people in attendance, but I also felt very focused when I walked out the door.

This workshop gave me optimism about achieving my goal for the new year. It inspired ideas of how I can practically act each month to achieve my goal or at least get closer to achieving it. It was a truly beautiful experience all around.”
