Forest Therapy is based on the Japanese practice of shinrin-yoku and much evidence supports its numerous health and well-being benefits. Forest Therapy brings us to a place of slowing down and witnessing the everyday sacred in our surroundings. It is a deeply relational practice of reconnecting to our bodies, each other, and the land we live upon.
Walks vary between one to three hours and are based upon a series of sensory invitations. Walks typically culminate in a tea ceremony or a similar communal experience.
Seasonal Rewilding Gatherings
These Nature immersions take place around solstices and equinoxes to honor annual times of transition. During Rewilding Gatherings, participants engage in mindful walking where various pauses exist to meditate, engage in nature crafting and play, and circle sharing. These practices provide space for participants to tend to their inner wildscapes through the support and teaching of the other-than-human-natural world. These seasonal walks average 2 hours and typically follow a “journey” storyline.
What They’re Saying,
“Kristy’s rewilding walks immerse you in nature's gentleness and beauty. They offer an opportunity to disconnect, calm yourself, and quiet reflection. It is an exercise in self-care, and we all deserve some self-love. I look forward to the next outing!”

“I ‘rewilded’ twice with Kristy – Spring & Fall. Kristy’s guidance was great. She provided opportunities for us to experience nature in our own ways and in some new ways. I really enjoyed reflecting and meditating in nature, surrounded by the kindred energies of nature, Kristy and of the group. I leave her gatherings feeling peacefully energized. I highly recommend the experience.”
