Yoga Rewilded

Yoga Rewilded is the intentional application of yogic principles within, alongside, and centered upon Nature. Yoga Rewilded may be practiced outdoors or in, and only asks that the practitioner be open to experiencing how the natural world extends gifts of yogic principles to us.

A yoga rewilded practice is in touch with seasonal and lunar flows, the elements, and honors the shapeshifting inherent to many yogic poses. It is a practice that remembers yoga’s roots in the forest, and opens the way to enter into Consciousness through relationship with the natural world of which we are a part.

For an in-depth explanation of Yoga Rewilded, sample practices, and how it relates to the ancient Vedic custom of “going to the forest,” email Kristy to receive a PDF of her 2020 work, Reentering the Forest: A guide to rewilding our yoga practice.

What They’re Saying,

“Kristy led two outdoor yoga sessions that I was lucky enough to attend. She created such a relaxing environment, supported a wide range of yoga abilities within the class and she ended class with a sound therapy experience. I have never felt more relaxed and centered as I did after those sessions.

Kristy incorporates quotes and mantras to support one’s growth on and off the yoga mat. I will definitely reach out to Kristy again to lead a future yoga session for my friends and family.”
